Use smuxi for IRC Client in linux

There is so many opensource aplications for IRC (Internet Relay Chat) in linux, but I prefer choose smuxi to get chatting with my friend in cyberworld. smuxi is an IRC Client which is multiplatform that is very easy to use and based irrsi and developed for users of Gnome / GTK + desktop. Using smuxi seemed to use Mirc on windows operating system, but the excess smuxi especially the version smuxi integration with twitter. A breakthrough that appeal to lovers twitter because only by using smuxi we can get chating via IRC and get tweet our status on twitter.

This is how to get install this software :

1. Open your terminal then typing
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:meebey/ppa
2. Update list
sudo aptitude update
3. Install smuxi
sudo aptitude install smuxi

How to setting your twitter account on smuxi is click server >> click add, for the protocol you must change to twitter, then typing your username and password in twitter, >> click OK

How to connect to server just click server >> Quick Connect, choose your server that will be use then click connect..
